Right Shoulder and arm Pains

My Mother (Age 60 years) feels pain in her Right Shoulder and right arm almost consistently. The pain becomes worse at night. She could not lift her shoulder too much as when she tries to lift the same, it accompains with pain. Your valuable suggestion in this regard would serve as life line for us. Thanks & Regards,
