Received below comments during my annual checkup(ultrasound). Wanted to understand if this is serious.
"13.7 x 5.5 x 6.2 cm (approx. 200-250cc) predominantly cystic lesion in the region of the RIGHT psoas. Few isoechoic areas seen within the lesion. No vascularity seen in the isoechoic areas. This may represent an abscess."
What is Seton insertion and drainage ? Will it be done under local anesthesia ? Does it require cutting /
