Right leg lifting little up

My dad recently came home after recovering from COVID. Now while walking his right leg gets lifted little up compared to left leg. I mean right knee comes little up than left while walking. I don't know the cause and worried to take out for consultation. What is the reason ? To whom I have to consult ?
