Numbness over left big toe usually suggestive of limbo sacral radiculopathy( compression of nerve root) or because of mono neuropathy. very rarely it may be because of limb ischemia ( decreased blood supply to the foot). is there any loss of sensation over the affected area. if it is there you must consult a neurologists and a MRI scan of lumbosacral spine may be required. At least get evaluated properly by a physician Donot neglected as it may be an early stage of a serious Condition
