Uve done a surgery which is unusual at your age. Pls specify indication of the surgery. Recovery is generally 4-8weeks post surgery. However your surgeon can answer this the best or take a 2nd opinion from another orthopedic /shoulder surgeon.

Reverse shoulder replacement is usually not done in patients below 60 years of age. It is done in cases where the rotator cuff muscles have totally failed. There must have been a strong indication in your case. Recovery depends on how well your deltoid muscles are working and the fitting of the prosthesis. Usually it requires a prolonged rehabilitation program and can take 3 to 6 months. There is a lot of functional restriction after this operation so restoration of 100% function is not possible. Full motion does not come after this operation.
Next Steps
Continue physiotherapy.
