1)retina ok means retina ok, not vitreous jelly
2) retina exam does show the jelly..may be detached or inflammed or blood on that etc..
3) floaters can develop anytime , mostly after 40..but can be there even in young adults especially if high eye number or any inflammation , pathology in eye.
Also after trauma ..the jelly may liquefy and possible to see floaters . ..but will not be able to specify then if they r due to trauma or anyway developing .
4) only if trauma caused damage to lacrimal system of eye or the ocular surface.
