36yrs old amblyopic eye has very less vision since birth. Retinal detachment surgery with silicone oil is having very poor prognosis even after removal of silicone oil, only advantage of RD surgery with silicone oil, you will have some vision& shape & size of eyeball will be maintained throughout life otherwise in long run your eye will become small (pthisis bulbi)if  you don't get RD surgery done. After RD surgery iop is raised, so get regular check up of iop if after repeated examination, iop is normal ,stop dorzox T eye drops.
