He is diabetic and suffers renal failure. We would like to know what it would take to bring him for treatment.

Hello.... Are you asking about investigation..?? Obviously his renal function test and blood sugar levels both fasting and post prandial sugar level is required... Along with that doctor may ask for urine sugar levels... Consult general physician in nearest hospital.
