Relationship Confusion
I have become friends with an online counselor who initially helped me get over my break up and i also opened up about my disturbed past with my birth mother and my emotional abandonment.I was already over it and didn't need therapy. Now we have completely stopped talking about my issues and there is no therapy going on at all.Professional boundaries are crossed.she accepted its friendship but website protocol makes the relationship confusing. What can be done abt the protocol? It's now personal
Pls step back and find one more Counselor as this is not helpful. Kindly understand that the Counselor had to adhere to a professional relationship, but maybe not trained enough and hence got drifted. This can confuse you more and not give you the needed results.
