My father, 77 years old has undergone craniotomy for acute left subdural hematoma on 6th April 2016. He was on anti- coagulent drugs due to which the surgery was postponed for five days after the diagnosis. But he is showing no signs of improvement since the surgery. He was having speech problems and recognition was somehow impaired just after the hematoma. The same is continuing even after surgery. He is very restless, not being able to have anything orally and blood pressure is fluctuating. Please help.

Sir, acute subdural hematoma is a complicated brain hemorrhage will cause direct compression over brain and will lead to the effects what you have said..left side injury to the brain will lead to speech disturbances..in due course of he will slowly recover by physiotherapy and medications..follow up with your neurosurgeon periodically and follow his advice
