My wife(29 age) had 2 miscarriages. After second miscarriage, we did some investigation tests and then hyperthyroidism was detected in May’2020. Then, in colour doppler test, it was found that she has Graves disease. Current medicine- Neomercazole 5 mg (thrice a day) Previous medicine - NMZ 10mg (thrice a day) Her treatment going in AIIMS, Delhi. They suggested for Radioactive iodine treatment where thyroid gland will be destroyed. We are in state if confusion, whether to go for it or treat via Antithyroid drugs. Can future pregnancy be affected by this treatment or any physical problem in future? Please suggest for second opinion.
