Hello I am experiencing swollen tonsils with cold and cough associated with runny nose sneezing and headache.also my wisdom tooth has been decayed with abscess. General physician has prescribed azithromycin 500 but still there is discomfort or swelling.does decayed tooth causes throat infection or swollen tonsils. Please suggest any medicine or treatment for the same. Kindly reply asap?

It looks like Upper respiratory tract infection u should take throat swab for culture and sensitivity so consult a ENT specialist
