  4. Puberty not set. Field should i visit?

My son has completed 14 years. However, there are no signs of setting of Puberty. He is 5'3", 65 kg. Although he does want to do body building exercises. Do I need to be worried or should I wait for some time? If he has to see a doctor, specialist doctor in which field should I visit? We live in western suburbs of Mumbai. Please advice. Thank you.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult I suggest you visit a pediatrician with  adolescent pediatric practice. She/he will decide the child's SMR staging depending upon certain physical development and accordingly guide you. Hope this helps you.
