I recently started the birth control patch and my period has been almost 2 weeks now. Before the patch, I also just got my copper IUD taken out and had to take the morning after pill. Would all of this explain why my period wont end?

Given that the IUD has been removed, prolonged bleeding may not be related to that. Hormone patch usually does not cause excessive bleeding. This probably is a hormonal aberration which need not be investigated unless it recurs in subsequent cycles.
