Problem with brain

There has been a recent psychotic problem with my grandfather who has been giving statements which do not relate to each other.I suppose there has been a problem with the neuro.Please suggest for necessary steps.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Get his blood pressure checked out. Also get his RENAL FUNCTION TEST done. The most necessary step is to consult a neurologist in person so that he can examine your grand father and certain other tests like CT SCAN of the brain may be required. Does he have any other symptoms? Can he carry out his daily activities like eating, going to the bathroom, buttoning his shirt etc? Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
