Probability of cancer?
My Aunt, she was suffering from on off cold/fever since past month.
Yesterday she had her face and stomach swollen. She was rushed to emergency and they did some bloodwork and found that she has some kind of infection and also there’s a mass in her lungs via xray. She will be going for biopsy on Monday but we are scared about cancer. Does lung cancer show such symptoms?

Lung cancer usually doesn’t have cold and fever. It will present with cough, Shortness of breath, chest pain and sometimes blood in sputum. But presence of lung mass with suspicion of lung cancer needs to be biopsied to rule out cancer.
