Hi, My wife 35weeks pregnant I recently done USG the values are AFI value is 6cm Cord noted around the neck The doctor saying that immediately need to do c section And administerd some IV fluids( 25D, alamin sn,improlyte) increase the AFI values I want to know Is it serious situation Iam attaching reports Please reply ASAP Thanks in advance

As far as doppler is normal there is no emergency. But if AFI is low it's better to take alamine intravenous. You can still wait till 2 weeks (37 weeks). Repeat scan after 10 days with doppler and take decision according to it. But anytime your obstetrician is in better position to guide you as there is grade 3 placental maturation. Please confirm about Steroid injections (for baby's lung maturation) before taking decision of delivery.
