Dear, In obstetric cholestasis there can be an increased risk of preterm delivery  & fetal distress.so at present most obstetricians are managing oc pregnancies by delivering baby at 37 weeks to prevent the possibilities of stillbirth. Your obstetrician will monitor your condion  & advice you to deliver baby early by monitoring your liver enzymes & serum bile salt levels. So it is advisable to follow your obstetrician's advice. Regards, Dr Devika Patel.
