I got told on Friday off the doctors that my bloods had came back 124 hcg positive for pregnancy and also got a positive home test then started to bleed that night and get cramps, then my tests all started to be faint positives and negative and then my midwife phoned and said my postronge was 5 iv had a chemical pregnancy what is this I’m so confused

a chemical pregnancy is one in which the urine test is positive, b hcg also is showing values in positive range but there is no evidence of pregnancy intrauterine or extrauterine Its a dilemma for clinicians too!!!
