Hi, My mom got a mild cat scratch from a wild cat today. The wound looks like a small cut. I have washed the wound with dettol and applied an antiseptic cream. What other precautions or instructions need to be taken care of? Any injection required in such cases? Thanks in advance for your support

Yes it's definitely required ARV Anti Rabis Vaccine .... So i advies you to start vaccination as early as possible and take full course... If it's Intra muscular then 0.5 ml on 0,3,7,14,28 total 5 times you have to take and if it's intra dermal then 2 dose of 0.1ml on each day 0,3,7,28 total 4 time... And if cat is rabid then also take ARS anti rabis serum after its test dose.
