Popping sound on chewing and yawning

Since last few days my jaws make a popping sounf every time I open my mouth wide to yawn or even while chewing. This has even caused pain in my right ear and the area aound it. I searchec for these symptoms online and realisef that it could be TMD. How should I treat it.
