Hi Doc,
Recently in my routine healthcheck I found that my TSH is 5.930 so doctor said it's hypothyroidism and suggested me to take Thyronorm 12.5MCG for 3 months. My confusion is while explaining he said your TSH is bit low, but in general for my age group it should inbetween 0.38-5.33, so as per my understanding 5.930 is bit high.
So please help me in clarifying - the medicine prescribed for 5.930 TSH is correct.
