I recently (3 days back) started taking iron supplements 200 mg with 1000 mg vit c tablets empty stomach. I have had loose stools past 3 days but nothing else. Today I noticed pink mucus in my stool.. is this normal? The iron tablet is red in color is that why?also I had bad cramping yesterday on empty stomach tablet,so took today with food and it was fine.. but got pink mucus in stool. Stool colour is blakish..
