Pink eye and sinusitis

My son was diagnosed by his pediatrician w pink eye both eyes and sinusitis. They gave him some eye drops antibiotics and allergy meds. The eyes don't seem to be working. His eyes turn red after i give him the drops and its been 3 days and it hasn't cleared. Is there any other eye meds? Does it take more than 3 days for pink eye to go away?
