Pcod problem for almost a year now

I was diagnosed with Pcod and was given metasmall and Drome X tablets which I had to take for some 3 or more months.But I missed the course and then again I started same course after almost 1 and a half month without consulting doc again.Do I need to consult gyne once again or I can continue same.
