If i-pill daily is taken from day 5 of the cycle and in-between the month if one gets involved in unprotected sex until when should i-pill daily be continued? For lifetime is it?

No not all. I pill may cause ectopic pregnancies, erratic bleeding patterns, and not fool proof. There are so many other prevention methods . Why life time even for few episodes of sex not advisable go for birth control pills.
