PAP TEST BY LIQUID BASED CYTOLOGY C/274/19 Site: Cervico-vaginal smear Clinical details : Health check. C/O Post coital bleeding, premenustrual spotting. Sample type : Liquid based cytology Adequacy of the specimen: Adequate and satisfactory for evaluation. Endocervical cells/transformation zone components present. General categorization: Negative for intraepithelial lesion / malignancy. Descriptive interpretation: Microscopy: One Papanicolaou stained smear shows clusters of unremarkable superficial and intermediate squamous cells. Background shows many neutrophils. No malignant cells seen. Metaplastic cells-Present Dyplastic cells-Absent Endometrial cells -Absent Extrauterine cells-Absent Change in bacterial flora, Coccobacilli-absent Trichomonas/fungal organisms-not seen Impression: Negative for intraepithelial lesion / malignancy. Inflammation (Mild)
