Gallbladder stone is the most common cause of the pancreatitis then comes the alcohol as a cause of pancreatitis. In some cases, high cholesterol level high calcium level may be the cause of pancreatitis. If all above are not the cause, then MRCP will help to identify the anatomical abnormality or residual gall-bladder with stones.
