Post a trekking trip I am facing a severe cramp in the joint between my waist and left thigh. Whenever I get up from any certain duration of seating I feel pain and unable to walk for 2-5 min post which I have to limp around. I tried stretching and workout at gym thought it was a cramp that will eventually go away but the problem is persistent and it's been 7 days.

Probably you have developed stiffness ad cramp in the quadriceps. Sit on height from you can stand easily. Improper sitting height will keep on irritating the muscle. Do a roller massage of the front of the thigh. Continue with the stretching. All the best.
