Pain in left eye whenever I study for exams from almost an year or so I am having this problem.

Hello Your symptoms are suggestive of dryness Try A.cold compresses B use lubricating eyedrop frequently I would also recommend you to consult local ophthalmologist and get proper eye examination done Regards
