Hi I sometimes ( mostly when asleep) develop a severe stabbing pain in my right lower lobe of the lung which is unfortunately collapsed due to episodes of tuberculosis twice. When in pain it's difficult to breathe or even move. plz suggest from where can i get it checked n if it an alarming symptom? TIA

Hello there. I can understand your concern. since you have been experiencing so much of a problem, then why have you not consulted a doctor yet? for this issue you need to consult a pulmonologist in person for further evaluation and management. get a X-ray of the chest and a pulmonary function test also done. do not delay your visit to the doctor anymore. best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
