Pain & Swelling in left Hydrocele.

My Younger brother who is 26, has developed swelled left hydrocele which is paining while he is walking.Toilet and stool are normal. He applied hot water soaked cloth , that relieves him from pain temporarily. But after a while paining starts as usual. He works on a marine engineer and currently in Bay of Bengal. Someone from India is going to board that ship.So please advise me some well known medicine regarding that which I can sent to him.Also as he has 3 more months contract to oblige so he can't be operated before 3 months.
