I am suggested to take CLOFERT 50 from 2nd day of periods once a day for 5 days.But when does ovulation actually take place after taking tablets and how to time intercourse in order to conceive?

Follicle ruptures (ovulation) 14 days before you next period. If you have 28 to 30 days  cycle ; ovulation will occur on midcylcle. For your pregnancy ; you should have alternate days relation at your midperiods; for example 10 to 20 days for normal regular cycle.
