Overian cyst

Hi, I am undergoing follicle monitor since I am a pcod patient and trying for our first kid.From the report,there are no any matured follicle in this cycle but I have a overian cyst which is reduced from 26 to 18 on my CD 18. Now I am on cd22 and now it is showing a hemorrhagic cyst.what it is? am I ovulated in between 18 and 22?

Hi it means u r not ovulated but cyst with blood in it is there. If no follicle developed, then it's that previous cyst , which is appearing there.
Next Steps
Just wait for next period and u may require to check for ovarian status , if all normal, ur gynaec should change COh protocol.

Dear Practo user, In your case, the follicle didn't mature. Most probably, there was hemorrhage in the cyst which was already existing. It is not likely that ovulation has occurred. The follicular monitoring has to restart from next cycle onwards. One scan has to be done in the beginning of the cycle. Based on that report, further action will be planned.
