Sorry to say that the information is too little for a diagnosis. A 67 male with pain in both hands may be having two major differential diagnosis. Systemic osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. If they're is selling of the joints with early morning pain and stiffness that improves with activity, it is likely o be rheumatoid. But if the reverse is true, it is perhaps osteo. Please talk to a rheumatologist with all old reports for further clarification.
