Hi Osgood schatlers disease is basically apophisitis of the tibial tubercle.. If physiotherapy is not providing relief, ideal treatment consists of a plaster cast for at least 6 weeks to provide complete immobilization to the knee...most of the time this is successful.. Thank u

Rest and icing is the initial treatment. If she is involved in any sports activity, do refrain from running and jumping till symptoms completely resolve. Anti- inflammatory medications will help in reducing the symptoms. If not resolved complete immobilization with brace or cast can be tried. With all these measures if pain is not resolving then need to further investigate.
