I am 43 year's old man and suffered optical neuritis on may 2016 1st attack and 2nd attack on oct 2017 presently taking azathioprine 100 per day Resently my MRI brain results this " Few discrete hyperintensity foci in FLAIR/ T2 weighted images seen in the bilateral front parietal and occipital periventricular white matter suggestive of chronic ischemic changes " please explain what is this and also suggest what is name of this and also explain treatment for that

Recurrent optic neuritis has multiple causes. Few of these causes may be progressive. Please consult a Neurologist near you.
