Regarding the first part, children undergo various stages of sleep regression sitting childhood. Follow a strict routine from morning till night, including meals, bath, play time etc, and you will see results soon.
Also make sure no screen time 2 hours prior to bed.
Children below 2 years should ideally not be exposed to any screen time.
