I m suffering from IBS since 2014 and was earlier diagnosed with OCD. Currently I am taking the following 3 medicines since 2.5 years & have approx. 70 % improvement 1) SERTRALINE   100 MG  (1.0.1) 2)PAROXETINE    12.5 MG  (0.0.1) 3) RESPERIDONE    .5 MG (0.0.1) Now my questions are: 1) How much more time will I will take to completely overcome from both OCD &  SOMATIC SYMPTOMS. 2) Are medicines enough to completely overcome these symptoms (OCD & SOMATIC).

Yes sometimes both together can occur ..OCD and somatic symptoms appear simultaneously..just you need to continue that medicine and adjust your doses periodically

In general, medication treatment for OCD can last several months to a year or longer, depending on the individual's response to treatment. Treatment for IBS is often longer-term, and symptoms may wax and wane over time.

Hello, 70 percent is good improvement as per our understanding. You can add psychotherapy to have additional benifit, especially prepare yourself so that we can later decrease the dose of medicine.
