Hello mam, thanks for your greetings
Weight( excessive) ,
diabetes, smoking, dyslipidemia etc are some of the major high risk factors for coronary artery disease.
Excessive weight, dyslipidemia create a situation of insulin resistance in our body, which is one of the causes of T-2 diabetes. Hence you might see obese people mainly in their middle ages usually start developing T-2DM. Many of them can be treated by weight loss & statin therapy which lowers serum cholesterol along with OHAs.
These excessive Lipids are also a cause of atherosclerosis of the blood vessels ( which is acceleted by habits like smoking). This may lead to narrowing of lumen of blood vessels & after a critical narrowing,(in coronary circulation) there arises problems like angina...which may progress to AMI.
Next Steps
Lets hope we all shall maintain a healthy lifestyle & get rid of all our damaging habits.
