Not able to hear clearly in right ear

Hi, I am having this problem for more than 2 weeks. In my right ear i cannot hear what's being said clearly when there is background noise like traffic on road or when someone is saying something from other end of a room. Left ear is fine. What could this be? I took a homeopathy medicine for same but there is no relief. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Need to consult ENT surgeon. It may be because of wax or nerve damage. Pure tone audiometry may required. Cause can be confirmed after check up only
