My 21 days old son weighing 3.22 at birth,Is now 3.63 now but is continually vomiting after every feed , being prescribed domstal drops hasn't helped either.His vomit is milk form and not cuddled.

Hi..Myself Dr kirti prajapati.. Practicing as a pediatric surgeon... I see many cases of newborn vomiting. 90- 95 percent due to feeding problem.. But there are few cases in which neonates have some kind of problem that needs to be evaluated ie..GERD, IHPS etc..which requires thorough clinical history, examination and investigation. Better needs consultation. Can't be solved on online Q/A. Thanks..

Hello.. Make sure that you are patting the baby well so that there is burping after every feed..do not make the baby lie down immediately after feed...better to consult a paediatrician
