Known causes for PCOS:
- Genetic inheritance
- Insulin resistance in which case the cells can't use insulin properly
- Obesity can cause inflammation of the body and insulin resistance
- Exercise and a healthy lifestyle by eating a well balanced diet devoid of oily, deep fried and junk food has shown to improve the status of the PCOS.
