My mother age 45years, she have near vision she have spects also, but she is telling iam not able to see long also. So i think she have distance vision too. But how is it possible doctor? Both near and distance vision at once???

Hello These can coexist A. Distance vision blurring is due to refractive error And near vision blurring is due to presbyopia. B. There is nothing unusual in this and she can use glasses

Yes get her refraction done and get the glasses dispensed for near and distance both.

This is refractive error with presbiopia (decreased ability to focus near objects) and sets in around this age only. She will require progressive or bifocal corrective lenses. I hope you will understand now.
