Nagging Cough

I've been having a cough for almost a year. I visited a chest specialist, continued the medicine for two months but it was of no use. I just can't stop coughing. It gets really embarrassing and awkward sometimes. Please advise me what I should do.

Hi. I understand your concerns. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigations like chest x ray to look for infection. if it is normal get a pulmonary function test done which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of bronchitis based on which treatemnt can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same.
