My child might swalowed ear bud.pls help

My son is 1 yr and 3 mnths old.Today when I'm not there he was playing with my headphne.When I came back there is no ear bud.I'm not sure whether he swallowed it or not.But I searched the whole room,I couldn't find the ear bud.It was made of rubber.I tried to make him vomit.But nothing comes out.I guess he would have swallowed.if so wat r the sympt

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. DO NOT WORRY. Even if he swallowed it, its very small, and round and smooth. So it will not injure him. You will have to keep a watch on his poo, searching for the item. It may well take around 1 weeks time but it will come out. Since its rubber it won't be seen even if we take xray. Anyways don't panic
