Muscle Spasm - Upper Back

My wife has Muscle Spasm at Upper Back and Lower Neck Area . Its been more than 4 Months now . We have visited several doctors too and taken physiotherapy. There is improvement but not 100% . Generally how much time it takes to get well in such cases ? Are we missing something ?

She may have cervical facet joint pain n muscle spasm. It might b trapezitis too ( common in female ) . Go for MRI CERVICAL SPINE . if not benefited she may need trapezius trigger point in or facet joint injection.

If it is not relieved even after taking physiotherapy for three weeks, it is better to evaluate with MRI, consult orthopedic surgeon
