Last sunday night, I applied Savlon as it as on my private parts as there was some itching. In midnight, it started to burn and by morning there was so much swelling and burning due to bacterial infection. I showed to Doctor and he gave some anti-biotics and i-Bact ( MUPIROCIN) ointment. The ointment helped with swelling and infection but it seems it burnt my skin and now there is itching. My question is can you suggest any other cream which will treat the skin not harshly and help in healing.
