There is inflammation on left side of my cheek below and around the ear. My friend is having mumps and i was in contact with him so i guess i was infected as well. In his case it pained a lot more, but in my case It doesn't pain that much but it pains a little while chewing food. The inflammation is from three days. The region below and around the ear feels hard on touching. I had mild fever for 2 days but today there is no fever. What medicine should i take to reduce the inflammation and slight pain while chewing. How much time will it take to heal?
