Lipomatosis seldom needs surgery unless they are located on vital areas / are obstructing vital bodily functions. Plus lipomas are notorious for recurrence post surgery. So if harmless, you may consider avoiding the surgery. If you still want to go ahead with the surgery ,it's better if you get examined from a General Surgeon. Tc
